Welcome to the Collier-Friends website, home of the Friends of the Library of Collier County, Inc., located in Naples, Florida.

The Friends of the Library was formed to establish a free public library system in Collier County. The ongoing mission of the Friends is to support and to enrich the services of the Collier County Public Library System. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Membership dues & donations are tax-deductible.


The Friends office is located in the Naples Regional Library, 650 Central Ave., Naples, FL 34102. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Call the office at (239) 262-8135. E-mail the Friends office at psherry@collier-friends.org

On Thursday, April 18 at 9 a.m., Amy Hill Hearth spoke at the third Bagels & Book Clubs Breakfast at the Port Royal Club. Hearth is the author of Miss Dreamville and the Collier County Women's Literary Society. Her non-fiction work, The Delaney Sisters: the First Hundred Years, spent 113 weeks on The New York Times best seller list.

WEST WING GALLERY - OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS
Monthly openings for artists to exhibit their two-dimensional work at the West Wing Gallery are available.  The Gallery is located at the Naples Regional Library, 650 Central Ave., Naples, FL 34102. If you are interested in displaying your artwork, please submit the following for our review: 1) artist’s biography, 2) contact information (full address, phone, email), and
3) samples of your work -- high-resolution digital images (300 dpi or greater) or high-resolution photographs -- which will be used for the Friends of the Library website and in large format posters displayed within the library advertising the exhibit. Sample images may also be distributed in concert with a press release announcing the exhibit to the Naples Daily News. Please submit in an email or mail to the address above, attention Marlene Kern.
