Welcome to the Collier-Friends website, home of the Friends of the Library of Collier County, Inc., located in Naples, Florida.

The Friends of the Library was formed to establish a free public library system in Collier County. The ongoing mission of the Friends is to support and to enrich the services of the Collier County Public Library System. The Friends of the Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. LEAP Program - Students Helping Patrons
Students are now available to help patrons one-on-one to use electronic equipment (iPad, laptop, Kindle, nook, etc.). Call one of the 7 participating libraries for your appointment. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library - contact locations (pdf)

LEAP is a pilot program sponsored by the Friends of the Library for the Collier County Public Library. Students will receive work experience by helping patrons learn how to use their electronic devices and gain confidence accessing information. Making your appointment helps assure the success of the program - and you learn a lot!
